Land Acknowledgement
Acknowledging, with gratitude and in the spirit of reconciliation, that we are living, working and playing in the land of the Treaty 7 People, the Blackfoot Confederacy of the Piikani, Siksika, Kainai and Blackfeet Nation and the Stoney Nakoda Nations - comprised of the Bearspaw, Goodstoney, and Chiniki First Nations and the Tsuut’ina Nation. We also acknowledge the people of the Métis Nation of Alberta Regions 5 and 6. We are all treaty people. We give thanks to the people who came before us and for all who continue to keep this land for future generations.
